About

Thirty years of being handed the thing that didn’t work.

I’m Kostas Chaidemenos. I’m based in Thessaloniki and I work as an independent consultant in business architecture and AI implementation.

The through-line across thirty years is narrower than the job titles suggest. I get handed the problem after someone has already tried — a programme that stalled, a system that half-works, a supplier who said it couldn’t be done. What I bring is a willingness to go down a layer: to open the device, read the protocol, rewrite the process, and find out what’s actually happening rather than what the documentation claims.

Recently. Director of the Smart Meters Department at MeterTech Solutions, contractor for Enaon EDA, from December 2024 to June 2026 — the reconnection programme described under Work, closed three years ahead of its mandate.

Before that. Eight years with Vision Gate HK, first as a project manager in business architecture and corporate consulting, then as an AI implementation consultant and strategist.

Further back. Electro-mechanical engineering, robotic and drone prototyping, and a long career in professional photography — commercial work, aerial “HeliCam” photography from 2006, 360° photospheres and HDRi, and scientific and heritage documentation including the Thessaloniki Metro excavations. As a Google-trusted photographer my work has passed 26 million views.

That range isn’t decoration. It’s why a problem that turns out to be mechanical rather than digital doesn’t stop the project.

Now. Most of my time goes to agentic AI systems — designing them, building them, and working out which of them are products rather than tools.
